New Music Event for Croxley Green

After months of planning, on Saturday 3rd September 2011, The Green will come alive with the sounds of live music for Croxley’s first ever Community Music Event ‘Croxfest’.

How the stage will look

On a specially constructed stage, 10 local bands will perform to their adoring fans as the community come together for what is being billed as one of the most popular new events to be held on The Green in recent years.

This free to attend event has been brought together by a keen band of volunteers under the umbrella of the Croxley Green Society.

The Croxley Green Parish Council (the event's main sponsor) provided a welcome boost to fund the event and money has also been provided by U.D Salon, Reycol Mechanical & Electrical Engineers, FBP, Croxley Meats, Sewell & Gardner and County Councillor Steve Drury.

The music starts at 12 noon and goes through virtually non stop until close at 8pm. See the bands that are performing at this spectacular event.

Eight food outlets are due to attend to provide party goers with a fantastic variety of tastes and choices although festival goers are welcome to bring their own food and drink.

A gazebo area is being provided to the rear of the audience area and anyone bringing their gazebos are asked to ensure that they use this designated space to prevent obscuring a view of the stage.

Mark Saxon, the Event Organiser and Stephen Crabtree the Event Safety Officer wants everyone who comes to Croxfest to have a great time, but please remember this is a family orientated event so please drink and act responsibly.

Parking is very limited so please come, if you can, by foot or public transport.

More information on all aspects of Croxfest can be found on this website or follow us on Facebook and Twitter.
