New Variants

New Variants journey began in 2019 when aged just 10, Charlie, Dylan and Seren spent several months shredding the guitar, slapping the bass and playing killer beats before a live audience when performing in the West End show “School of Rock”.

During covid, the trio began recording digital collaborations from their individual bases around the country and once lockdown was lifted, New Variants was unleashed, hitting the studios, busking and performing across various locations. They quickly secured gigs fast establishing themselves within their local communities before landing a much-coveted residency at Acklam Village Market, Portobello Road where they play twice daily slots regularly.

In addition, New Variants have been recording their own original material which they are very excited to release shortly.

Inspired by garage rock and protopunk with post punk and modern influences, their unique brand of music fuses hard riffing and driving rhythms with the quirk and charisma of frontman Peter Cornelius Ford, and a bespoke olde London sensibility. Making short, hard and accessible guitar music that will make you shout “onwards ye fine gentlemen”.
